There is one thing that my family and I do every year which is staying at an all-inclusive hotel in Cancun. It is no secret to anyone that knows me that it is by far my favorite travel destination. We also have a little secret on where and how you can get the best bang for your buck when booking your trip.
First I want to talk about where I have stayed rated from my Favorite to my least favorite all inclusive hotels in Cancun
1. Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula
Above is a super old picture but this was by far my favorite all inclusive resort. Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula is a super extravagant, clean and fun resort that provided excellent service. My family and I have some of the best memories of this place. From amazing poolside service to the fantastic nightly shows, not to mention the incredible food. I wish I took more pictures of this place, but again this was a long time ago, but check out the link to the hotel to check out the grounds and the beautiful scenery.
2. Now Sapphire
Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun is another great resort that is a small hidden gem. The minute you get to the hotel you are greeted with warm towels and delicious drinks. They have great shows and fantastic food/service as well. For more pictures of the actual grounds, I included the link above.
3. Occidental Costa Cancun
Occidental Costa Cancun is a recent endeavor of ours. It was an excellent place for food and drink, but the entertainment was alright. Which is why this is my number 4 go to spot.
5. Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas
Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas was the first hotel we had stayed at when we first went to Cancun. This hotel will always have a place in my heart. It is a little old, and they have not updated much, but it has that old-Cancun feel. Fun fact we loved Cancun so much our first visit we actually decided to stay for a month outside of the two weeks we
So I just wanted to share some of my favorite experiences that I have had outside of the resort as well.
Xcaret was by far one of my favorite experiences outside of the resort it has everything from scuba diving, animals, and shows. I would describe it was the animal kingdom of Disney World. It is one experience I will never forget.
Swimming with the dolphins! I can not find the place where I swam with the dolphins but if you ask the hotel where you are at they will be happy to give you recommendations and it is a must!
Booking your hotel
Lastly, I wanted to share with you guys why we get to travel so much and what times of the year we go. So my mom is the one who finds the deals off of Expedia. We normally go around Thanksgiving or Christmas because these are the cheapest times to go. She always somehow gets our tickets and hotel stay under $1,500 a person.
