Day Trip in Chicago

Over the summer I got to spend a day in Chicago and jam-packed the day with as many activities as possible. Here are some possible activities to partake in a while visiting Chi-town.

3 Arts Club Cafe at Restoration Hardware

If you love HGTV as I do, then 3 Arts Club Cafe is your foodie interior heaven. There is greenery all around with beautiful chandeliers and fountains. The cafe is located in Restoration Hardware located at 1300 N Dearborn Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60610. Restoration Hardware is six levels of beautifully decorated rooms and landscapes.

There are so many cute places to take pictures in or of the rooms for inspiration.  The rooftop also has incredible views of the city and luxurious seating to enjoy some morning coffee.

This next activity took us half the day because the line to get to the Skydeck itself takes 2-4 hours if you do not plan accordingly.

Once you get to the 103rd floor of Willis Tower, you get to see a panoramic view of the city and take breathtaking pictures. It is located on Franklin Street (east side of the building). There is a clear box you can see on the right to see what is below. The clear box terrified me, and I refused to look down otherwise I would not have been able to take the picture. There was a line to get back down to the first floor and took about 45min to an hour to get back down.

The Bean!

Because who doesn’t want to see the bean when they visit Chicago?!

Butch Mcguires

This Irish bar is unreal with their decorations! It makes you feel like you are in another universe. It is a plus that they have great drinks and ambiance.

Hope I gave you some ideas for your visit to Chicago! If you have any questions, comment below! I would love to help and give in some insight. If you guys would like me to include anything in particular for my travels, let me know!
