So recently I got to take a little trip to Universal Studios which is only a 4-hour drive from Savannah. My grandparents and I wanted to go there because it was a plan for us to go before my dad passed away. So for the one year anniversary of his passing, we all decided to go and be together because that is what he would have wanted. We had the opportunity to stay Lowes Royal Pacific which was stunning. It had a tropical luau vibe to it and almost felt like I was staying in a spa. From there we could take a short boat ride to the Universal gates.
They had everything there from Shrek to Transformers. However, my favorite spots were, of course, Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. After that, we ventured to a Jurrasic world which was massive and Home of the Simpsons. My favorite rides were the King Kong ride (crazy visuals that felt so real) and Jimmy Kimmel’s Race through New York which was so surreal that I felt like I was actually in a rocket to the moon. It only took us two days to get through the entire park which in my opinion is very impressive.
Overall it was a fantastic trip, and I hope to conquer Disney World next! Living in Savannah has its perks, and I can not wait to share with you guys my little slice of heaven.
